COFFEE

Coopercam’s Coffee Department is anchored in services that range from storage to marketing the coffee produced by its members. With the offer of transport from the property to the warehouses, the bags are packed using cutting-edge technology, which guarantees more safety, standardization and precision in storage.

Samples from all batches of coffee are sent to the Sorting sector, where they go through the sorting process to determine the quality of the beans. This procedure is important for the next stage of the services provided by the Coffee Department: marketing. In this area, Coopercam operates in the main coffee buying markets, and always seeks the best prices for its members.

Certifications 4C and UTZ/Rainforest

The certification process is the most viable way for the coffee grower to improve his income, especially with the consumer market increasingly demanding for quality beans and produced within the pillar of sustainability. But the benefits of certification do not stop there: by opting for this process, the producer will have a tool for managing costs, health, work safety and compliance with labor and environmental laws. In other words, the coffee grower will work on all the functional aspects of the property in the environmental, social and labor areas.

To assist cooperative members who are seeking certification, Coopercam has an exclusive department in this area. Certification is accessible to small, medium and large producers; and the member may choose between two available types: 4C and UTZ/Rainforest. TECHNICAL/COMMERCIAL DEPARTMENT AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

Coopercam has a Technical Department, linked to the Commercial Department, composed of 11 professionals, including Agricultural Technicians and Agronomists, who daily develop a work aimed at providing assistance to their cooperative members in a personalized way. Divided by area of activity, each technician/agronomist serves a specific portfolio of cooperative members, totaling, on average, 700 annual visits made by each of these professionals.

Among the services provided, we highlight nutritional planning and recommendation, soil correction, pest and disease monitoring, application technology, certification monitoring, Field Days, Technology Circuits, technological tour and demonstration areas. In order to carry out an increasingly assertive work, professionals are always attentive to innovations in the sector.

STORES

To offer the best products and fair prices, Coopercam has a partnership with major suppliers in the agricultural sector. All this guarantees the success of the Commercial Department, which increasingly has efficiency as its main characteristic. To support cooperative members in their activities, with increased productivity and improved income, Coopercam stores offer a complete portfolio of agricultural inputs, in addition to financing, promotional and Campaigns.

There are three stores to better serve their members: the Matriz store, in Campos Gerais, and those in Córrego do Ouro (opened in 2005) and in Campo do Meio (2022). A system interconnected with the main store guarantees safety, agility and ease in the daily flow of the Commercial Department. In 2021, the branches underwent a major structuring, with the acquisition of Coopercam’s own land. Investments in infrastructure will be made to better meet the demands of cooperative members in these locations.

MANAGEMENT

The Administrative Department is one of Coopercam’s main foundations. The daily work of this sector is what drives and supports the other departments. He is responsible for the Cooperative’s strategic planning, personnel management and financial sector. With dozens of employees, the Administrative Department, more than handling Coopercam’s daily demands, is responsible for competently meeting the needs of all cooperative members.
